TwelveTabs vs Amazon search and Rufus
By TwelveTabs · Updated
Amazon's search page and Rufus are made by Amazon, which sells the products. TwelveTabs is independent of Amazon. It drops sponsored results, asks you a few questions and names one best match with the reason.

|---|---|---|---|
| Made by | Amazon | Amazon | TwelveTabs, not affiliated with Amazon |
| What it is | A list of results you compare yourself | Amazon's own AI shopping assistant, in its shopping app | A free AI shopping agent for Amazon |

Where Amazon's own tools are better
They know your account and your orders, and they cover everything Amazon shows. TwelveTabs searches the US Amazon store only, and its answer is a starting point, because an AI model can misread a listing.
Where TwelveTabs is different
It is not run by the seller. It ranks on sales, ratings, review counts and price, and it never takes a sponsored placement. It earns a small Amazon Associates commission when you buy, which does not change which product wins. See is TwelveTabs legit?
Rufus is described as Amazon's AI shopping assistant in Amazon's own announcement. We have not compared how each answers the same search, so this page says only what each is. To see what TwelveTabs picks, run a free search.
